Got a bottle of Clyde Mays Rye. Not too shabby for my old fashioned. Lucked out and MIL found four bottles of Blantons.

it's been a rainy dreary do nothin' day been watchin Olympics and the rain and not doing much. every once and a while I been passin' by da cabinet and hittin the jug of early times I got there. Soothing and keeping me from being depressed. Glad we didnt go to mardi gras and enjoying a nip from da jug every once and a while.

Bout da only thing I got done was a post bout pork steaks it is now waiting for my editor. problem is since da jug is bout empty means its gonna need lots of editing. so now to empty the jug and go back to a thrilling evening of curling and such.

I got my first bottle at batch 4 and it was excellent. It was not easy access. It needs time in the glass as well as the bottle. At first it was hottish. Once the level got down to,the antler tips and it had been opened a couple months the nip went down and flavors came alive.

The recent batches of stagg jr are my favorite right now no doubt. Best $50 bottle you can buy.
