Mobile.

We showed up at 4 and were 24th and 25th. There were plenty of rip 10s and lot b but I wanted a Stagg. They only had one W.L. Weller. The al Young’s we’re gone too.

You get anything else?

I tasted the Elijah Craig a couple of weeks ago.. did not enjoy BUT , I am more of a rum drinker.
I tried the Larceny 1870 - same company and really liked it.

Just found out today they are opening a Total Wine about 1 mile from my house. Opens this Thursday and I'm off Thursday and Friday.

Wanted to give everyone an update. The annual BSOBR Christmas Party is 3 weeks away. Just wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page this year because we are switching things up.

It’s December 7th at 7:00 at the Cove. We will have half off all whiskey plus a few specialty prices as well, when we get that squared away I’ll post it online. Cupcake Allie is making bourbon desserts for us again so that’ll be tasty.

The big difference is for the raffle this year we are doing a toy drive for Toys for Tots. Every toy you bring in gets you a raffle ticket, i.e. 5 toys is 5 tickets. We are aiming to raise 50 toys this year so come out and bring a toy for a child in need.

So with this being the first time you have to do something for a raffle ticket, we figured we should make the raffle extra special. I don’t have everything completely confirmed yet but I can say that The Cove is donating a couple of Barrel picks, Calandros is donating some of their Barrel picks too. We also have an Eh Taylor Single Barrel, High West Double Rye pick, Yippe Ki Yay, and MWND. Baton Rouge Distilling is donating a tour package too. Oh and I’m putting in a 2015 Four Roses SMBLE too. And if we hit 50 toys too we will throw an extra bottle into the raffle.

Hope to see everyone at the Cove in just a few weeks!

FPD for the board, but not FPD in reality. Found another one of these floating in the wild so I broke it open and shared with the guy who sold it to me.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

Had to pay extra for a few but still better than buying on the secondary market.

One of the best Maker’s picks I’ve had. His full proof single barrel pick is great too. They ship but if you guys ever find yourself in Jacksonville or St Aug definitely check his store out.
