So in terms of Scotch age statement that makes it a 10yr old age statement as you can only advertise it as the age of the youngest whisky. Damn

I think I read there were just a couple more bottles in the previous release so that must be the new one. Sounds like he got a "good" price

Sometimes we buy bottles just to have them. The Muchters is a good example as well as the Hirsch 16 year. We know we overpaid for them a little but are in no rush to sell them. Its cool to have stuff like that on display.

If someone comes in with $5,000 we'll happily sell it, but are in no rush

You need a really nice top shelf cabinet to hold and store these top bottles where they can be displayed and viewed while staying safe and undamaged...
