Wife got me this for Christmas, she said I have enough whiskey.

I've got the same problem finding anything at my relatives houses.

I'm with you on the RY10 Unc. It's a good change of pace wheater, and I definitely get some of the Heaven Hill breadiness, but I still prefer w12 or a good OWA pick any day.

I got some Norlans today from the wife. I didn't realize how much juice you can put in there - an ounce and a half pour looks like nothing in that glass

That Four Roses is the shite.

Maker's OFs at the in-laws all night.

Completely random. Wife's grandmother had some liquor above her fridge that no one knew was up there. It's been at least 15 years since her grandfather passed away and no one ever really digs around at their place. I tasted it this evening and it bursts with flavor on the front but doesn't wow very much on the back. I'm not complaining. Cool find to add to the collection.

For us peasants that arent allowed to buy Pappy, I found it is one of the better wheaters out there

To each their own
But W12, OWA107, and makers 46 are better wheaters than RY10 IMO. And almost half the cost.

In laws and the wife came through this year. Nothing spectacular, but a decent haul.
The 4R is an 11yr old OESO Party Source Barrel Pick, one of the BT is also a Party Source Barrel pick. Especially since none of them drink whisky. Wonder if that OGD 114 is about to be rayer?

I hear you. Tried Maker's when I first started drinking whiskey and it turned me off to wheated stuff. Thought it tasted like bad scotch and lighter fluid. Maybe I should try it again.
