I’ve been looking for Hancock but it’s near impossible to find around here. Where can I get some? Tia

A facebook trade or secondary market group. It tastes like mildly flavored bourbon water to me. Just my opinion.

Good to know. I have a bottle. Was debating on cracking it or trading for something better.

I think the "toasted" in that bottle is overstated but its a fun sip and worth getting

Opened up nicely with a splash of water, long finish...but I recall enjoying the Michter’s version of this a bit better probably back in 2016 or so.

I’ve spent more money on worse pours, that’s for sure

Lag 16 on the rocks is a nice pour.

I think you should try without ice. Cold mutes a majority of the flavors, and this is probably why you are tasting the medicinal notes so strongly. I find ice works with bourbons since they are so rich in flavor. Scotch is more delicate, and I think ice enhances it’s more pungent flavors. I don’t recommend it with scotch. Tastes like soap

Did they just release their new batch, or did y’all find stragglers from a few months ago?

I found it at Rouses, so it’s got to be stragglers from a few months ago
