When I was sitting at the bar at PLP in Nashville, the bartender told me he preferred the 8 year to the 12 year. When they came out here, I bought both, and enjoy both, but for me, slight edge to the 8.

It’s ok. Certainly not bad by any means but I too am a big High West fan and I guess I was just expecting a little more from this one. I actually have two bottles, one unopened. I also have a bottle of their Son of Bourye. I prefer the Bourye over it.

Willet Rye and Kentucky Owl just popped up in my local liquor store for about $100 a piece. Are they worth it?
