Heading to Dallas next weekend. Looks like I will have time to visit one brewery on Saturday afternoon. What's my best bet?

Are you in Dallas proper? If so, go to celestial in the medical district for hazy IPAs. Go to brain dead in deep ellum if you want a sampling of a variety of styles. You can eat lunch at brain dead too. They have good food.

If you're in the suburbs north, tupps in McKinney has great hazy stuff and stouts. If in mid cities or HEB area, turning point in Bedford might be the best brewery in DFW.

What THO3 said. Celestial is great. Their outside area reminds me a bit of Courtyard except it's the light rail tracks overhead instead of the highway. Unfortunately, it looks like a high of 59 on Saturday so a bit chilly to sit outside.

I live next door to Celestial. It's a pretty cool little place but it's isolated from the rest of Dallas.

I'd check out Deep Ellum so you can hit some other bars as well.

Deep Ellum or Tupps depending on your location. I enjoyed both, but have admittedly not been to the others mentioned in this thread.

We are staying in the NorthPark Mall area.

I've been to Deep Ellum before. It is a cool place but average beer. I was wanting to try somewhere different.

I've heard good things about Turning Point. They were supposed to be at Beer and BBQ festival here in Shreveport earlier this month. They were a no show - not sure what happened.

I live right there. One exit up off 75 on Walnut Hill is a place called civil pour. All kinds of coffee and a great draft board. They have a lot of local stuff to sample from.

Bishop arts is cool to walk around. Lockhart is really good BBQ down there.

Craft and growler doesn't have too much around it, but usually has one of the best if not the best draft boards in DFW.

Will be in next Saturday, not this Saturday. Hopefully the temp will be up about 10 degrees by then.

Only one in Dallas I have been to, but it was a really fun place to hang out and the food was pretty good. I don't remember any beer standing out fwiw.

Braindead has great food there, but revolver and pecan lodge are basically next door too. Revolver has great tacos and pecan lodge is top tier BBQ.
