Preferably affordable without it being too much.
Any good butchers out there in the area?

Looking to buying in bulk? You can find exclusively grassfed pasture-raised beef from local farmers. But you have to buy a half or whole cow at a time.
Eat Wild helps you find them.
My wife's family and I used Smith Family Cattle Farms. It's an investment but you can get grassfed beef for an average of like $6/lb.

I will probably get shite on for this, but neighborhood Walmart has them in individually wrapped vacuum-sealed packs for a good price. I have had ribeye (many times), flat iron, ny strip, and filet from them. All have been good.

You can find grass fed beef at pretty much any local grocery store now that isn’t a piggly wiggly. If you’re looking for affordable I doubt an independent butcher is going to fit that mold.

Grass fed and affordable shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. Go to Iverstine's.

If I recall Sprouts is moving to Louisiana. They have great prices on grass fed.
I have seen prices as low as $3-4 for pounds of ground 85/15. It's pretty good quality too

Just go buy from the slaughterhouse. It's usually local beef.

I like going to Farmer's Markets and meeting the farmers, discussing their processes and supporting local farms. We buy from Bayou Farms
