Best Mexican (in Alabama) is Antojitos Izcalli.
There is not a good burger in Tuscaloosa.

Is that place still open as a restaurant? Thought it had closed.

It’s still currently closed (I’m pretty sure). There were recently some plans discussed to reopen it but I’m not sure where that stands.

Archibalds in northport for ribs. Way better than Dreamland, although Dreamland has the best banana pudding I’ve ever had.

When we travel by car, we have always avoided fast food and looked for mom & pop places, usually rewarded for our trouble. When a relative moved to B'ham and we were regularly making the trip, we tried to keep our tradition. After running into the worst, blandest slop in the USA, we now stop at Subway frequently, Subway is the lowest rung on the road food ladder.

Where are you trying to find something to eat? Confused by your post.
