Hebert's Cafe is near there too. If you there tomorrow night they have AYCE fried catfish. It's good too. They have good lunches too.

Big Mikes is my go-to lunch spot on my way home from the camp. Great operation and great food all around. As a matter of fact, I had the Carolina Pork Sandwich last Sunday

We always hit the Taqueria Magnolia on the way home PP. It might be a little too authentic for your palate though.

I'm more of a tex-mex guy, so yeah your probably right. Regardless, Big Mikes is my favorite.

One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to in any city

If you into fried chicken, Bayou Delight is great! All the other good places have been named.

A few other local places like Jolly Inn and Hebert's are good.

The Duke for some good burgers.

Whichcraft for some beers!
