Where should I shop for meat now that Rouse's has taken over Leblanc's?

The Frais Marche in Pville was my go-to until I went yesterday and saw the sky high prices. Where are y'all headed now? Or are y'all biting the bullet and still buying from there?

The beef was comparable but slightly higher and the pork prices were very high. I buy more pork than beef. I don't recall offhand what Leblanc's prices were but I know what I saw yesterday dissuaded me from buying any meat there.

I buy 80% of my meat from Rouses, I dont find them to be high, however, I do load up when they put stuff on sale. Also, if you go in the AM they put there meat on Managers Special, some good deals to be had there as well.

Ralph's has pretty good meat. It's just down the road from Leblancs . . err . . Rouses.

Yeah, count me as a former Leblanc's customer not impressed at all with Rouse's.

Yeah, I used to shop at Ralph's before the Frais Marche opened. Will likey go back there. They remodeled their store to look like the Leblanc's type stores.

I like the meat at Fresh Market but it's only priced right when it's on a weekly sale. Rouses runs new weekly specials every Wednesday and I usually menu plan based on what's on special. You are correct it's high when not on special though. Hell meat is high everywhere IMO.

I love LeBlancs as much as the next guy but rouses will be just good, I think. I do miss the huge discounted meat section we had at the Drusilla location.

Eta

Rouses must have paid the LeBlanc family a fortune. The frais Marche stores had to be turning profits hand over fist.. The first frais Marche opened 3 years ago.
