I'm in Walker. I used to order my kegs from Rouses on Juban a couple years ago, but I always had trouble with them.

So, I switched to The Beverage Store in Baton Rouge. My contact person there was great. Had to put my Keezer in storage while I built my house. Now I'm back in the beer game and my contact has moved on.

The person I'm talking to there now doesn't know beer and simply tells me "her distributors don't carry that.". Keep in mind, these are all craft beers.

I've verified with the distributors that they do in fact carry the beer I ordered... And have ordered many times before.

I'm looking for a reliable shop that will get me the beer I do desperately need.

Where do you guys get yours?

(No need to mention Katering Kegs. He upcharges all of his kegs by at least $30 each. Being close to LSU, he can do that...)

Maybe try once more saying that you've ordered the beer here before and that the distributor says they carry it. Your new contact might not know wtf she's talking about. If she says no take your business elsewhere. I can't offer recommendations on where to go.

I usually get my kegs from Rouses on Juban. I would agree that it is hit or miss though. What kind of trouble have you had? I do like their prices though. $20-30 cheaper than Albertson's. My next place will be Oak Pointe in Central.

I did. Got me 3 kegs; Man-at-arms, Jucifer, and Kingfish Ale all in 2 days time. Texted me when they were available for pickup. I had no idea Carter's could even get me a keg.

Dude there is doing a amazing job. Think I have my new go-to.

Thanks!
