In south Louisiana it is the gin and tonic. Chemically and metabolically it is one of the few drinks that has ingredients that actually cool you off besides the ice. Also great for leg cramps and malaria.

Love a good old fashioned but my favorite is a gold rush-
Bourbon honey syrup and lemon juice. Super simple but delicious
For everyone saying sazerac. Never had one but always thought I would like them. What’s the flavor like compared to old fashioned?
