yeah .. i think i have been to the sherwood one once in my life and that was maybe 10 years ago .. i always have gone to the government location ... actually one of the few unique, local places we have had here in BR ... from what people tell me, and now clarifying what zilla said .. government is far better than sherwood ...
my dad used to take me there all the time when i was a kid .. fell in love with them ..

I actually like that sandwich quite a bit, but I just don't crave it that often.
Also, I don't always carry cash with me.

my secret spot is in Cortana Mall
a little place called Jasmine's Cafe'
Get the Cajun Turkey w/swiss on lightly toasted whole wheat.
but don't tell anyone else, I don't want this place cluttered up

Funny you should mention that place... when my wife worked at Victoria's Secret @ Cortana, she often ate there for lunch, and she mentioned they had a great Cajun Turkey sandwich. Small world!

You're not the only one! My favorite when I lived there as well.
Bro, I recently found an old Menu from Roma Deli that lists all the ingredients and a description of how the sammich is prepared. I am thinking about trying to reproduce it.............

Yes there still is, its not Ronnies Ribs either.
And Jasmines on the Bayou makes a pretty damn good Grilled Shrimp Po-boy. (if they only used better bread)
