Question for the Beerfreaks: What is the purpose of a pry off top vs a twist top? I really wish I wouldnt have to remove my flip flop every time I want to open an Abita. Does it help it stay fresh longer?

I've heard that it makes a tighter seal allowing the brew to stay fresher. Not sure how true that is.

Yeah, it's a pretty good beer, hoppy like almost all Sierra Nevada beers, but it's one of the industry standards for the American Pale Ale style.
