What's Wrong With My Bananas?

Sometimes when I buy green bananas and let them ripen at home, they get this unappealing dark color where the were green when I bought them. They taste OK, but does anybody know what's causing this?

It looks like bruising. 
Is it soft under those dark spots?

They were refrigerated at a very cold temp. Thats what makes them look grayish

Put a ripe yellow banana in the bridge and what what happens to the peel in a day or two

They got sent to the store on a cold truck, and then probably weren't stored properly. If the store didn't fold back the plastic that covers the bananas to air out, all that moisture stays in and they get gray/ripen weird.
I've eaten them before and I don't remember them being bad. But I tend to stay away

This is the right answer. My dad had a produce business and sometimes he would have me make his deliveries and this is one thing he always reminded me not to forget to do.

And what I said was these were green bananas. It's always the green ones that do this.
