Need last second recommendations for Hammond. Something with decent seafood preferred. I am not familiar with the area.

Thanks in advance.

There is a Don's if that's what you're looking for.

No thanks on Dons. Not a fan if it’s any like the one in Gonzales.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am checking out the menus online now.

Also Middendorf's but not sure what kind of wait you'll have with it being Good Friday.

Tacos and Beer is my favorite.

It’s not seafood. But it’s good.

We ended up going to Cate Street. Overall it was a nice dinner and I would go back.

Our table had a variety of courses.

Highlights were the oyster poboy and the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. The poboy was loaded with so many oysters that we had to take some off so that it would close. I am not a huge oyster fan but they were big and soft fried perfectly.

Least favorite dish was the crab cakes appetizer. They were big but had too much filler. The flavor was just ok.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
