Yeah that's right.

I'll say it to any Applebee's eater's face IRL. In a completely condescending and patronizing manner too.

I know man. I pretty much want to jump off a fricking bridge. At least I didn't pay for it.

You're gonna get curb stomped by Billy Earl and his 300lb ole lady Shelia.

I ate at Applebees's, voluntarily. I was in Stanton, VA one night and I called my niece who went to college there for 4 years. I asked her what's the best restaurant in town, "believe it or not, Applebee's, and it isn't any better than the rest of them".

We ate at Applebee's. Burger and fries is my rec.

Well that wouldn't be very fair. I'm just trying to educate people, Mr. Balls. Not stand in judgment of them.

I'd get a burger. You can't go wrong with that. You'd be surprised at how bad the burgers at some of these places can be. I always found Chili's to be palatable but don't order one from TGI Fridays.

Worst hamburger I ever had in my life was from Ruby Tuesdays.

I've actually eaten at a Chili's on my own free will and can see myself doing so again. It would take some dire circumstance to get me into an Applebee's, Ruby Tuesdays or TGI Fridays. As far as Applebee's goes, you're just better off eating chips and salsa and getting ripping drunk.

You have to work hard to frick up a cheeseburger, so I would go with that. Pretty much everything there is frozen though.

Last trip to TGIF :

Wife : Can I get a burger medium-rare ?

Waitress: I'll ask but I don't think so. It's kind of hard to do because the patties are frozen.

Wife : I'll have the chicken.

I was forced to eat at an Applebee's last week for lunch for the first time in 15 or so years. It won't happen again.

It's been a long time since I've been there (seems to be a running theme in this thread ) but I remember enjoying the quesadilla burger.

If I ever found myself there again, I'd probably order it again- but that was at least 5-6 years ago.

No doubt. That was a couple of years ago. Haven't been back since.

I at people who think that Applebees and Chili's are on the same level. Chili's food is actually good. Their ribs are pretty great for a chain and their steak fajitas are worth an occasional visit if you live in a place that doesn't have outstanding local Mexican places. Chili's, Cracker Barrel, and Outback are all fairly decent for the price. They're no where near as good as Chelsea's, New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co., Louisiana Lagniappe, etc.
