What to do with Thanksgiving leftovers-early version

My wife made a small test batch of cornbread dressing yesterday. I had half of a rotisserie chicken leftover. I also had a can of cranberry sauce in the refrigerator. I hate fresh cranberries but I will eat the canned jelly stuff like I'm going to the electric chair.
So...I read an email I get from Tasting Table I get and got an idea. I used the rest of the dressing and put it in the waffle iron and cooked. I ended up with a very nice, crispy, savory waffle. Stone ground mustard, mayo, rotisserie chicken, lettuce, sliced cranberry jelly stuff, sliced gruyere cheese, salt, pepper and just a drizzle of turkey pan gravy and I had a very nice sandwich.
The family fought over it. I will make more this Friday.

Very interesting. Wasn't too dry?

That's interesting. I love the crispy top on the dressing, but I like the moist parts with it and a little gravy on top. Some gravy atop a crispy dressing waffle might be pretty tasty.
I love homemade cranberry sauce. I make a good one. Haven't had canned since.

I don't have any wayto post pics plus they would probably end up on some gay porn site for waffle freaks.
Not anymore dry than it is prior- so if your wife makes dry dressing your waffle will be dry. This one wasn't. But the cranberry, mayo, mustard and gravy work well. Add more gravy. I will add coleslaw to it next week because I make coleslaw for Thanksgiving.
I just don't like cranberries other than in the can or with vodka. And I gave up vodka.

That made me laugh. And I feel the same way.

Turkey, stuffing, gravy, mayo, and lettuce sandwiches on fresh white bread until the turkey and stuffing run out.

I love turkey sandwiches on dark rye with Durkee's or a homemade honey mustard and thick crispy slices of bacon.

Put it in the waffle iron and give that turkey sandwich some dimples.
Just tasted a corn soufflé test batch. It didn't make the cut.
