Go with a warm German potato salad.

That was gonna be my other suggestion. Just sauteed cabbage with garlic and salt and pepper is phenomenal.

I know Schwartz is gonna cringe.. but we take a couple slices of bacon, render them down to produce a couple tablespoons of bacon grease. Remove the bacon and sautee the cabbage in the bacon renderings on med-med high fire, until the cabbage turns golden, stirring continuously. Then crumble the cooked bacon on top of the cabbage, reduce your fire to low and let simmer for about twenty minutes, add salt, black and red pepper to taste, stirring once in a while to make sure the cabbage doesn't stick. You can add a little water if it sticks.. but not alot of it.
Delicious with sausage or brats. Should look like this:

As long as you don't add sugar to it, I'm good.

Any place in BR you can buy it already made? Thanks.

Not that I know of, but it's dead simple to make...takes maybe 15 minutes if you're slow.
ETA: Zoe's has a cold version of it that tastes like complete and utter arse...could always go for that!

It's really delicious.. Just make it yourself and you'll have leftovers.. You'll want them.

some good baked beans, and some original lays potato chips

Boil them in beer and onions first. Then throw on the grill for a second. Serve with potater salad or mash potatos. And sauerkraut of course

Don't forget the oft left out caraway seeds in the Kraut for bonus flavor.
