The Chimay gift pack is awesome. One of each beer and a glass that you don't have to steal!

Wow, who knew? I've been drinking Chimay for years, but didn't know about the gift pack...I may need to pick one up, seeing as my 12 y/o broke one of the glassses. He swears he wasn't sampling, though...

I've seen them around at different liquor stores. Just call ahead and I'm sure someone will have them in.

Most people are Bud Light/Coors light types

There are a few connoisseurs that buy the expensive beers.

Opposite here. People drink micro brews or "craft brews" and only know a couple of people who drink Miller or Bud. Light beer is a no no. I used to drink the hell out of some Alaskan Amber.

I like the Chimay. My cousin introduced me a while back. I can't remember which bottle I liked...I think it was either the brown or blue. Not a fan of the red. I think.

At a average bar I can't usually get good craft beer but they usually have:

There are just three... Red, White, and Blue. The blue is generally considered the best, it's the super strong ale. I like the red (dubbel) a lot as well, and the white label lags behind in my opinion. All are great, though.

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of...and I think it's actually the white label Boo was speaking of.

All my fiancee will drink is bud light, so that's what I have most often just because it's easier to buy one 20 pack. I prefer miller light, though. But, my go to's are Shiner Bock, Pilsner Urquel, and of course, Chimay.

Never heard of that one... ETA I guess you're talking about the one I've always called the white.

There is a brown label, but it's only available at the monastery, called Doree... it's a Belgian Pale Ale.
