Altered Beast and Paradise Lost are my tops lately.
Jucifer is always good especially given the consistent supply.
Ghost and Bloom are always good too but aren’t killing it for me like in the past.

I like that one also but I think my favorite is Karbach Hopadillo.

Ghost and Jucifer are my go to’s for regularly available ipas
Holy roller is just a slight notch below for me. It is way better on draft vs cans IMO
I would put Crowd control and paradise lost just below that but still very good
The lagniappe series from Nola and special releases from Parish are always must haves too- just not always available

Based on my favs posted above, what is my preferred “style” and/or hops? New England/West Coast? American IPA? There are so many descriptors out there.
There’s definitely a strand of IPAs that I don’t prefer that I’d describe as having a more amber flavor profile.

For mass produced ones, Two Hearted and Sculpin are my go-tos.
For smaller, more local/regional ones I like Good People's Hitchhiker and Snake Handler, Creature Comforts Tropicalia, and too many to list from Trim Tab. Their latest Citra Singularity is nothing short of fantastic. I'm on my 5th 4-pack in 2 weeks.

Looks like most of the ones you listed are New England style IPAs.

A lot of good ones listed. I said earlier, that it depended on my mood, but also on what I've been drinking lately, among other things.
I love drinking fresh hop IPAs, but by the time the fresh hop IPA season is over, I'm ready to move on. Then I start missing it again about a month or two later.
In the summer, I tend to like the west coast style more. It's more refreshing to me. In the winter, the hazy IPAs sound better, but regardless, I like to mix it up. I don't really have a "go to". The taprooms I frequent are 100% rotating, so I can't really find a go to beer there. When I buy beer, I usually look for new stuff, too, so you won't find me pounding a particular beer one after another.
I would rather risk trying a beer I've never had before, even if I see a "sure thing" on the tap list.

Thanks, The Spleen.
What about Imperial vs American?

For a good American IPA, Bell's Two Hearted is the benchmark. It's on the maltier side than ones you listed, but still a strong enough hop content to balance it out.
West Coast IPA, try a Ballast Point Sculpin. West Coast is my favorite style.
I can't think of a good, widely available Imperial IPA, also usually called a Double IPA. Bell's makes Hopslam, but it's a limited release in late winter every year. Honestly, if you don't like the maltier ones, you probably wouldn't care for most of them.

I like all types, personally. One that I discovered pretty recently that I like a lot is Sierra Nevada's Hazy Little Thing.

Any recommendations for out of the ordinary blonde or Belgian style ales?

Always drinking different IPAs. Haven't had a bad one yet.

I like Voodoo Ranger Imperial by New Belgium. It starts out sweet and finishes with piney and citrus. Might be a little on the bitter side for some tastes, but it's a well balanced double that isn't too hoppy, too malty, or too fruity. At 9%, it is potent but not deadly.
