Our local place, Nord’s Bakery, has an insanely good Bacon Maple donut. It’s either that or their Holland Cream donut.

No offense but the Mr. Ronnie’s in BR is terrible, just terrible. Those are the heaviest donuts I’ve ever eaten. It’s like swallowing a lead weight.

I love the OG glazed or chocolate, but Lemon filled is always a favorite of mine. I also delve into the cinnamon glazed or bear claw.

Apple fritter or bear claw, heavy on cinnamon, light on glaze. Regular glaze donuts hot. Do not like cake donuts at all.

I don't care what anyone says -- its hard to beat a hot KK glazed straight off the conveyor belt.
