People used to tell me that they would always see a Red Barons Pizza truck unloading at Pasttime once a week. They also told me that Pasttime would simply add their own ingredients such as feta cheese to the Red Barons. It's been years since I had a pizza there. Whenever I go there I get the roast beef poboy.

Another Lafayette establishment that is SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. Yet goes out of business in Baton Rouge. For a pizza place near a college campus to fail, you must really have to suck.

Did they close? I see the property they were going to build a new location on, way out Perkins Road, is back up for sale.

It was ok the two or three times I went there. Nothing special.

Gino's Pizza, Giordano's, Giannas all in Chicago

So you like pizza that has crust that taste like cardboard, no matter how thick it is? New York pizza SUCKS!

NY Pizza should have it's CEO arrested for fraud. Agreed, cardboard crust, no friggin sauce and as few toppings and/or cheese that they can get away with. Might as well buy a .99 cent tostinos at Albertsons.

I have seen a lot of ignorance on here but that about tops the cake..

The city of NY does NOT have a CEO for its pizza dumb arse.

Funny how Johnnys couldnt even stay open in BR but they have better pizza in some rednecks eyes than places that most have never visited. Places were pizza is made famous.. But podunk redneckville Louisiana puts out a better pie Some people really need to get off the tractor and get on a plane and experience the world.

Actually skips, thought it was about the NY pizza company. Though the slices and pies I have had in NYC are roughly the same. Been in all 50 states and 37 countries, Chicago pizza is the best by far. For such a cosmopolitan, you have a very juvenile vocab. I call BS.

Giordano's in Chi town is the best "eat in" pie.
Una Pizza Napoletana in NYC was the worst. Don't care for the "NY Pizza co" product, or SF Kitchen.

Sorry was only speaking to you about the comment made. Not the rest I had already saw the Alaska location. If you like Chicago style pizza then NY style is totally different. I enjoy both but realize that they are totally different foods. Giordanos my favorite then I tried Ginos East which I liked a bit more. If you like NY style pizza then NY Pizza Co in Baton Rouge is as close as you will get in Louisiana. What I dont get is that if you have tried NY pizza in NY and didnt like it why did you think you could possibly like NY Pizza Co in BR? That makes no sense. Dont know anything about SF pizza but Im going there next month.

Pastime under the interstate. Not just bad but, over priced. I would rather eat at Taco Bell.

I get a kick out of South La. posters always belittling people from North La. They act like they're a step above the rest in society when it comes to EVERYTHING.
