Take Sweet Baby Ray's as a base, add in some kosher salt, cayenne pepper, some ground black pepper, some cider vinegar, a little touch of molasses and cook it all in for about 15 minutes, then you got something worth having on ribs and pulled pork. It's just too thick and this adds a nice kick.

I make my own but these are available mail order and are original and unique,
Salt Lick , Austin Texas,, mustard based but best damn sauce in the wold for smoked turkey, a must have for ribs as it makes a great shinny glaze painted on at the last.
Gates , KC, pungent, hot sweet tomato based with celery bite. Love the Extra Hot, rib sauce.
Blues Hog, KC, small batch basic bar b que sauce with sweet spice. Really good.

I have tried numerous delicious sauces over the years- but I tried Rufus Teague Touch O'Heat recently and nothing else compares. The depth of flavor is magnificent - anchovy paste, raisin paste, and other unusual ingredients really put it over the top.
