What Happened to Porch Light in Prairieville?

Last year, it was a successful restaurant in the Prairieville area. It was packed every night, especially during crawfish season.
Every time I've passed by in the last month, it's been a ghost town with no more than three cars in the parking lot.

It seems like nothing in that location does very well for long. We still go there from time to time but we never crave going there as the first idea. It's always, "What about that place behind half shell? What's it called? Hold on, I'll google it. Porch light! Let's go there tonight"

They changed a few things on the menu, I know my last couple of visits were disappointing. The cheesesticks were smaller and it seems like every item was sold out.
Couldn't get a "craft" beer as they had nothing available and the menu was down to bare minimum, not even fries as a side because they were out.

in very simple terms, they quit trying, so people stopped going there.
its greed, they got a small taste of sucess and then started cutting corners everywhere to maximize profits and ran off their customers because of it

The ownership changed about a year ago. One of the owners who was there all the time, sold out to someone.
Seems not long after, things began going downhill. It's a convenient location for me, and I liked the little bar.
The last 3 times that I went it seemed to get progressively worse. Mostly food-wise. Reallly salty, or cold, or just always something that made you wish you were elsewhere.
Hope they get it back together. It's pretty easy to watch the parking lot to measure their performance.

That says it all....
I remember when Tommy opened it and it was great. Then, he turned it over to his son and girlfriend. It went to hell quickly.
I don't even remember what that place was called between the Tommy's Fish House days and the Porch Light days.

The place was great when it first opened. The last couple times we went there it just was mediocre at best.

I bought shrimp from the parking lot while they were building it.
Then they opened Tommy’s.
Then Kenny Carr took it over and ran it like every other Kenny Carr restaurant (make money while running a half assed restaurant and then Jump ship). He changed the name to KCs and still had menus saying Tommys.
Then it sold and turned into Porch Light.
