What happened to Pam & Dale's Restaurant in Destrehan?

Just saw on google maps that the entire building is gone now.
Anyone know why it closed and was demolished?

never been nor have I heard of it. My WAG, it was a casualty of Hurricane Ida back in 2021 that decimated Destrehan.
edit with update: the business last filed taxes on 3/30/20 and "inactive status" voluntarily. So they closed before Ida. I have no clue why as someone from the New Sarpy / St. Charles Parish area may know more

The Valero refinery bought it and demo'd the building.

The owners wanted out. They decided to sell and Valero bought the property.
