That doesn’t really fix the issue bc you still have to drive home and cook that pizza that you just waited a bunch of time for the pre made version of it

So it eliminates the ease/quickness of a frozen pizza, and eliminates part of the convenience of take out to create the least convenient way to order a pizza

I don't even view them in the same category as a frozen pizza though. The product is a lot better than frozen, and it doesn't take any longer to cook them in the oven. I usually would pick them up around 5:30 on my way home from work, so waiting 15 minutes to cook when I got home was a non-issue

what moron doesn't pre-order for take-n-bake pizza?

We still have Papa Murphys and I enjoy pre-ordering the pizza and picking it up on the way home and keeping it in the fridge for dinner

the Thai Chicken is delicious

My ex's family used to get them a good bit when we'd go visit and they were in the middle of a kitchen reno, and I thought they were really good too.

I remember there being a white sauce one I loved. Much better than frozen pizza, IMO.

Yes, the concept of having to cook your own pizza for pretty much the same price as a cooked pizza was odd, at first. But it was convenient and sometimes easier than a cooked pizza.

You could swing by on your way home, spend 5-10 minutes waiting on your pizza (not 20-30 minutes as previous stated). Your pizza is made fresh as soon as you order it. You can take it home, and cook it whenever you're ready to eat. Ordering a cooked pizza from a pizza place is the same thing, only you can't take it home and cook it when you're ready.

What was so horrible about it? Seems most people in this thread liked it.

It was horrible ... I agree with batman

We only went once because it was that bad. I know tons of people who loved it, we just never did.

When you take not so fresh ingredients, put them on a pizza dough ... drive them home and bake the not so fresh ingredients ... you get a not so good pizza.

It was slightly above average

What specifically was bad? Their sauce and cheese were just fine.

Not bad in the winter and most people probably cooked theirs outside on a green egg or something comparable.

High price

Example? They were known to have plenty of coupons and deals every week.

That’s entirely up to you.

There seems to be other stores in different locations open.

Good dough

Good ingredients

I have a big enough house where I’m not worried about the oven heating up the house.

Never took me more than 10 minutes. I really enjoyed their pizza

I got pissed when they cancelled the one with steak garlic and mushrooms. That pizza was amazing.

I stayed in Kingman AZ the other night, and there was a Papa Murphy's there.

I always heard good things about them, but wasn't impressed with the pizzas I got from the one in Zachary the few times I went there.

I’ve seen people say this a lot of times and am as perplexed about it as you.

My only guess is either (a) they live in a trailer or (b) they live in a part of the country where people don’t have A/C.
