Sometimes we'll have fried catfish or tilapia with hush puppies and fries. In these instances, I will dip every damn thing on my plate in it.

My mom put tomatoes on the cheese before grilling the sandwich.
My MIL, OTOH, put jelly on grilled cheese (on the bread before grilling). I do that sometimes.

I am a condiment connoisseur and genuinely think that about ~75% of food items are better when dipped into a sauce. With that said, I have slowly moved away from ketchup (although I would never have a hamburger without it). I like mustard and mayo based sauces much more now.

Nothing frowned upon I guess. French fries and pretty much anything that has fried potatoes. It's just a habit I haven't been able to break. also w/ Meatloaf.
