Commander’s
Maypop (dim sum brunch - Sat)
Patois (Sun brunch)
Brigtsens
Peche
La Petite Grocery
I’d also highly recommend Sal & Judy’s in Lacombe if you don’t taking the drive. Best Italian in LA

August is a fantastic dining experience, if not the best in the whole city

Jacque- Imo's uptown
Sal and Judy's in Lacombe (it is worth the drive)
Lunch
Domalise uptown for the best shrimp Po-Boy
I'm tempted to say Mother's , but although the Ferdie may be the greatest sandwich ever made, you have to wait so damned long to get in the place and then they push you out soooooo I will go with either Parkway or right down the street to Liuzza's by the Track- get the BBQ shrimp Po-Boy your taste buds will thank you as will your stomach, but your heart and arteries will curse you
Breakfast
Depends, do you want a Brunch with choices(buffet) or a menu?
For cheap- Camellia Grill Uptown (not Quarter) is damned good

I went for lunch once. Was way crowded and cramped. Found a seat outside amongst the overly lush vegetation. Flies were a real nuisance and it was hard to enjoy the food. I wouldn’t go back. The flies were ridiculous

FWIW I currently think the best 3 restaurants in Nola (food quality only, not accounting for service/ambiance/etc) are:
Coquette
Compere Lapin
Maypop
