Have a business meeting in the area this afternoon, and then want to hit a good happy hour spot afterward.

Eater Nola just released a good happy hour list this week.
Its restaurant happy hours, not sure that is what you are looking for.
BABs (Bywater American Bistro) had one of the better ones that I saw.
In the past, places like Bayou Beer/Wine Garden had happy hours, but the place is already inexpensive.

For good drinks and scenery the downtown hotel happy hours were nice, Ace (or now whatever Hyatt renamed it), Virgin and NOPSI. Fives in the quarter is small and pricey but fun. Also LGD has some decent spots, Uptown the Bower, the bar at the St. Vincent, Barrelproof, and even though its not quite the same Avenue Pub is still a spot.

I prefer smaller, neighborhood bars like Mid-City Yacht Club on S. St. Patrick St., Finn McCools on Banks, Homedale Inn on Homedale Ave., Lotsa Luck, also on Homedale Ave. in Lakeview.
