Decided to do a little chicken and sausage gumbo since it is going to get in the 60’s tonight.
And a Spicy Margo Rito for the wife.

Take-out once again; this time from Mike Andersons. Hadn't been there is a couple years and decided to give it a shot. Each of us had the Shrimp Norman, stuffed potato and salad. Okay, but it's hard to judge with take-out. Some things don't travel well. We asked that they keep the crab etouffee separate from the fried shrimp. Shrimp stayed crisp (better than other fried food we've brought home), but the etouffee setup too much, even after reheating in the microwave.

Where are you that it’s going to be in the 60s?

Did a porterhouse in the sous vide for the first time. Was hands down the best steak I’ve ever cooked. The hype surrounding sous vide is well justified.
With it we had roasted fairytale eggplant and sautéed pioppino mushrooms. Both from the Red Stick Farmers Market. Excellent dinner.

In Destin....so Boshamps. It was fine. Split the following with the GF:
1/2 dozen oysters Boshamp
Cup of corn and crab chowder
Shaker salad
Snapper Destin
Kentucky butter cake for dessert
Went with another couple and we also had an order of the Devil’s Crab for the table.
