Had fried catfish and boiled shrimp. We wanted some oysters to fry but our usual supplier was out. Still pretty damn good and plenty of leftover shrimp for tomorrow.

We did grilled cheese and Campbell’s chicken noodle soup (double noodles). With no LSU game I couldn’t work myself up to cook something today. We just had a lazy day and I am currently ending it with a glass of wine and a good cigar.

It’s definitely because im not cultured enough, but this kind of made me chuckle. Cause I have no idea what you said outside of “instant pot”.

Hell, with no game , I cooked. 8 pounds of hogs head cheese, two gallons of seafood gumbo, and 5 gallons of chicken, duck, and venison sauce piquant. Now, wine. Good wine.

Speaking of hogs head cheese, the next time you hit up Walmart, check out the deli. My local Walmart started carrying “hogsheads cheese”. I tasted it and it is an abomination!! Check it out for fun!

Beautiful pics as always.

We went to Mass, then had stuffed catfish dinners at Don's, with good cocktails mixed in there.

Sorry—dal = lentils, Dishoom is a well known Indian restaurant with locations in London, Edinburgh. The signature Item is a slow cooked, creamy black lentil dish made with tomato and cream.
