Tonight is gonna be breakfast sandwiches. Sausage egg and cheese McMuffins with hash browns.

It is going to be really hard passing up the red beans and rice on the stove.

Went to Sam's and picked up a roasted chicken. Took off all the meat (huge amount). Made some Chicken Alfredo with some of the meat. Pretty good. Sam's also has a medium Cobb Salad for under $5. They were out of them today but they are very good.

Why are you passing up the red beans and rice? But really, the breakfast sandwiches sound good.

Plain Jane one skillet meal for me. Ham and cabbage.

A friend of ours visited from TX and brought us a few bottles of Whataburger Honey Butter. My SO is baking biscuits and frying up some chicken tenders so he can try his hand at homemade Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits.

I've also got a pot of tomato basil soup simmering right now so I can have something to bring to work for the next several nights. The low tomorrow night is 6 degrees so I need something to warm my guts.

Vodka waters.

Homemade Chili. Ground some seasoned skirt steak I purchased from Ideal market and used home brewed stout I had. Cheddar cheese, sour cream and corn chips for garnish, and no beans. Delicious!

It's gumbo weather, cher.

No ice cream for dessert tonight. I used too much cream in the last batch and before it could all freeze, it started turning into vanilla butter. It leaves a waxy butter coating all over your mouth and I had to toss it.

That is for dinner tomorrow. Every Wednesday I cook for about 10 of my buddies. I work kinda late tomorrow so I had to cook something ahead of time. It was either red beans, white beans, or gumbo. I went with the red beans because it was a little faster.

I did taste them though ;).
