I pulled it together (see earlier post on Monday dinner lament) and managed a Thai red curry w/pork, water chestnuts, onions, broccoli, peanuts, etc. It was nice to pick cilantro and Thai basil out of the garden and watch the sun set. Curry came out pretty good too. Enough leftovers for tomorrow or Wed.

Went to church this afternoon to pray and meet to discuss some Men's club upcoming events. I was there for about 3 hours. I came out to the car to leave, but the car will not start. I get rather pissed because my battery is less than 2 months old. So I call AAA and they run diagnostics on my battery and system and jump me off. Battery has a bad cell and the voltage was 6.66, in the church parking lot. So tomorrow morning I get to take the battery back for a replacement. As a result I did not keep my dinner plans at my favorite Thai restaurant and just headed home.

So gumbo for dinner again tonight.
