Lentil soup w/plenty of carrots, celery, and onion. I added a porcini mushroom stock instant cube from Italy. Turned out pretty good for very minimal effort.

chemo, CBD oil, hot green tea and Icelandic water again tonight.
Tonight is my last night of round 4, so 23 days of rest beginning tomorrow during which I will be able to resume a more normal eating schedule.

Braised short ribs
Goat cheese polenta
Heirloom tomato, golden beet, radicchio and arugula salad
Roasted cauliflower
18 yr old homemade cab-shiraz. Surprising good, was going to cook the ribs with it, but decided to keep and drink with them.

Tonight I make my confession to you guys. For five years I have been living a lie with you. Yes I am a former VP of pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, now retired. No lies were told there. However, I am twisted and damaged merchandise. I actually am a turkey and dressing junkie. If I could eat T&D once or twice a week, I would. When I don't have it I am thinking about it.
Last night and today were very good as far as my habit goes. At the moment and thanks to my wife (MHNBPF), the monkey is off of my back. Tomorrow, the longing starts again. Sadly, that bothers me not at all.

CJ, Continuing to hold you up in my prayers, brother. Our Lord is the great physician. All good things come from him. He hears and answers our prayers, and many here are praying for you.
This thing can be beat, and to Him goes the glory.
God bless you.
