I know it’s early in the day, but Im set up with my stuff in the fridge and kind of excited. The older I get, the most joy I get during the work week is cooking and eating dinner.

Homemade salisbury steak with onion and mush gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled corn.

Banana’s foster with creole cream cheese ice cream for desert. Starting off the week with enough calories for a whole week.

Edit: Hey everyone.. stop shitting on the joy of my Monday

yeah for petty people. This is the food board, not the OT. I feel as if most people are mature enough in these parts.

The thought of eating at 430 and turning the lights off at 800 are getting more appealing these days.

Then just wait for the OT type responses that will follow.

I think the time is redundant as long as it’s after lunch on the same day.

I got my shite done and came home early so that I could slow cook my gravy. Should be ready by 6. Just got it started. The smells are already nice.

Edit: One day i truly believe we will be able to send smells through the internet. Ill send my gravy smells and the young ones can send farts to each other.

I dont eat breakfast. Usually eat an early lunch by most peoples standards. (Around 11). Usually something light too. However, I am rather gluttonous when dinner rolls around.

nice.

On a side note, isnt this the time of the day when everyone atleast starts getting their ideas together on what to make or go get? Thus 4:30ish should be the start of WFDT every night.

Jk ik its a sacred thread that cant be tethered with.
