New York Strips and homemade pasta with pistachio pesto. Cross Country meet in morning. Kids need the carbs. I need the meat.

Found a gator in a pit blind. We're not having blackened alligator or whiskey. Maybe a sandwich

Inspired by threads on large steaks and reverse searing, got this prime bone in ribeye checking in at 2.25 lbs. I wonder if the kid and I can finish it. I doubt it.

Boshamp's in Destin.

Had the cassoulet w/duck confit. Not a dish you find in most restaurants. It was delicious.

Wife had the pecan-crusted grouper and enjoyed it.

Beautiful setting on the harbor. Will definitely put this place on my list to come back to.
