Painted the field for the last time...2 sacks of oysters, chargrilled and raw, chicken, sausage, and oyster gumbo, grilled venison sausage and redfish on the half shell. Was good.

Bacon cheeseburger from the grill and kettle chips, made by the wife as a nice unannounced surprise when I got home today.

Brute of a week that is a long way from done on this hump day. Having a love you hubby meal - what more could say love than a bacon cheeseburger I don't know.

Looks great except for the peas running into the meat and rice.

You should spring for the cool plates I have. There's even another slot for the biscuits.

I drove in for one of the field paintings last night, not saying which one. But, will say, the grilled redfish, oysters, gumbo and sausage was killer.
