Can't skip dessert. Pastry, vanilla bean ice cream and choc. Ganache.

Identical twin sister. I'd never put my own pic on TD.

Wind a while back took the top 2/3 out of an old 60 foot tall gum tree in front yard. It had been hit by lightening 6 months earlier, which stripped bark all the way up the tree. The tree survived, but evidently suffered major damage up where it broke in the wind.
I cut up the downed portion in January and spent today moving the tree from the yard to my burn pile with my tractor and a small trailer. In spite of heart valve replacement and pacemaker I can still put in a hard day's work. I just really hurt when I do.
Sadly the bottom third is still standing and maybe 32 inches in diameter at the ground. It has warm up enough to work outside and one day it will get dry enough here to cut it down and into small enough pieces that I can pickup.
At the moment, there is a burn pile of tree the size of my truck. I can feel a big fire one day soon and then an immediate restacking of the pile as the lower portion comes down.
To answer your question, everything in me is pulled and Lortab or Tylenol are about the only two things I can take for pain because I take Warfarin to keep clots off my Carbon fiber heat valve and lots of pain drugs also thin my blood, which is already very thin.

Sorry to hear that, MD. I'll burn some magic herbs to speed up your recovery. I'm channeling CIT and Marie Laveau tonight.

My mom used to take Coumadin and is messed up her whole favored diet. She now takes Xarelto (sp?) And can eat greens now.

You are redneck to the core. My dad waged a war on standing timber for decades. Often was the time when the local fire dept. would run out to assist with a fire he started.

Chicken tortilla soup from the crockpot and some butternut squash (first time cooking both and damn tasty).
Got a gallon of some grand isle shucked oysters too...and while packing them in some containers I had to down a few!

I don't believe in them herbs burning Miz GG. That period in my life ended years ago. However, would you turn a card and tell me how long before I can finish taking down that tree.
If your talents include foretelling lottery numbers, I would drive to Mr. Balls' Liquor and Lottery ticket store at Exit 186 in Louisiana Saturday morning and split the winnings with you.
It isn't much right now because someone from New York won a week or so back, but 26MM split two ways would buy lots of Diet Root Beer and Dr. Peppers.
