Hot dogs, fries, chocolate cake and beer

Now that I say that in my head all together it isn't the heaviest of meal I guess. But, my kids are happy.

Will double up on veggies tomorrow

Fritatas... Browned some onions stove top, added seranno peppers from the garden, then garlic. Then some leftover rice, then chopped up leftover baked chicken breasts. Added the 5 beaten eggs and popped into the broiler on high for 3 minutes. Came out great.

You finish construction on your mud hole? About to start a fire and jump in mine with the boys ( one semi human, the Runt, and two Labs, Rye and Bones).

I've got it in the ground and operating. Got the concrete around it poured Friday. I undertook the masonry installation and landscaping myself and it's been kicking my arse all weekend. But it's coming together

I for some reason.

I never imagined I could be completely numb to the sound of an 18 month old piss cutter going non-stop all day long. I got some reprieve earlier by going to the gun range at high noon. I had nuts I didn't know I had sweating during that ordeal. Why would someone want to go out and shoot a paper target in the middle of the day with a 110 degree heat index?

The only reason I can think of was to parch these taste buds because the beers are mighty succulent this afternoon.

This event is nuts. Only 45 bucks gets you unlimited tastes of burgers and they're all paired with either a bourbon cocktail or a beer.

Probably just cheese and crackers and some apples. I mangled 3 pounds of boiled shrimp for lunch.

Apparently, I was low on iodine.
