I have been eating chips and salsa, chips and hummus, and boiled peanuts most of this rainy afternoon. I normally don't snack much but it has rained since lunch, not much else to do.

Supper may just be beer.

I can't decide at all. Part of me wants to pick up crawfish and the other part wants to grill something.

Pick up a few pounds, like 6, and grill too.

Problem solved.

I'm patiently waiting a decision from the hens. MIL is still here and it's not about me anymore.

We had late lunch with Bro and his wife at McAlisters. Haven't been there in 2 years. Lucy has never been. She asked me to print the menu. She looked at it and said "Everything has cheese on it."

Me: "That's crazy."
Lucy: "Read it."
She was right. Every menu item had cheese except the shrimp po boy. And she didn't want that much food.

So, she had a baked potato. Said it was horrible. It looked horrible.

Bro had a Reuben with cheese. His wife had a Grilled sammich with cheese. I had a Caesar Salad (yep, with Parm cheese).

When she got home she had some fresh corn bread and butter. That made her ...

Married to a cheese neurotic has given me one insight. When you go out, everything has cheese in it. We've been to wedding receptions with 10 items on the buffet line and the only thing without cheese is the bread. And sometimes the bread has cheese in it.

Leftover Pizza Delicious before drinking and either wings or a food truck after drinking. Drinking is the key.

Unless she's allergic to cheese & dairy, I don't understand the dislike for it. I love cheese even though it's not healthy. Most restaurants will accommodate you if you don't want cheese in your dish.

The dogs and I took a ride and ended up a local Piggly Wiggly. I picked up a fresh loaf of hog head cheese, chicken wings, pork chops, ultras, and 2 bottles of muscadine wine for the mrs. It is my understanding that her cousins are stopping by after while. Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo must not be shooting film this weekend.
