Surrounded by 14 year old boys....hamburgers and venison tacos...lots of both.

Going to our old standby fast/easy/greasy mexican joint for when we take the kids out. Celebrating my 6 year olds last softball game tonight. Taking her the and 4 year old to La Carettas in Metairie. They have colors, chips and salsa, and they will get your food out to you in less than 5 minutes in most cases.

I probably won't eat tonight. I ate an ENTIRE serving of Cheesy Enchilada Hamburger Helper last night by myself. My stomach is still so bloated it hurts.

burger with cheddar cheese on italian bread (cut the bread on a bias; put the whole sandwich in the cast iron skillet to toast the bread and melt the cheese). enjoying a cold beer as well.

Caretta's does get the food out faster than you can order at Taco Bell....and it tastes a lot better too...
