I love this shorts and sandals weather.

Later I will have Goat curry, steamed veggies, plantains and rice and peas.

Nice, just finished a late lunch, early dinner burger while waiting to hear if I get some good news, which I did.

Desi Vega prime burger w/ bacon and onion straws.

Don't usually eat this early. Started early for a couple reasons, to beat the snow, and to have it ready so my wife could take some with her to work, she works 3-11:30 pm shift tonight at hospital

Having some leftover parsnip, carrot and potato soup with rice. Wishing I would’ve cooked it with a roux

Reminds me of my mom’s beef stew, well...minus the beef

Went to Whole foods and filled up a to-go box at their hot bar. Chicken, sausage and a couple sides. Came up to $18 at the register, and the food isnt that great.

What a rip off that place is.

You would’ve been better off getting a pizza, a sandwich or some bbq from the back by the meat department. Hot bar is mediocre... and yes it adds up

I got the recipe here.

LINK
I smoke the roast with oak wood until it gets to 165. When I put it in the pan with the onions peppers etc, I finish it in the oven
