Thanks. Spent a month every summer on vacation from the ages of 8-28 at the Georgia coast. It is a really good eating.

Do you have a good Brunswick stew recipe?
Why hell yes, I do. I don't follow a recipe, or measurements, per se, I just like to add and simmer for hours. I normally make a big batch around Thanksgiving.
-Smoked chicken, shredded
-Smoked pork butt, shredded
-Smoked turkey, shredded (if I have it)
-Deboned rabbit and/or squirrel is optional but good
-Diced tomatoes
-Whole kernel corn
-Creamed corn
-Baby lima beans
-Vidalia onion, chopped
-Salt
-Pepper
-Garlic
-Worchestershire Sauce
-Yellow mustard
-Sweet bbq sauce
Combine everything in a pot, add water and cook slowly to reduce. Simmer for several hours, stirring often. Scrape the bottom of the pot to make sure it doesn't stick.
If you can use fresh or home canned veggies, all the better. I use home processed tomatoes and corn. Normally just have to buy the baby limas.
Here is the last batch I made.

Man yeah. I know the OP from that linked thread. He grew up in S. Louisiana, but lived in Georgia for a substantial amount of time. That recipe is legit, and was a huge hit at my camp.

The original "burgoo stew" had no chicken or pork. It was made from squirrel and garden veggies. I normally add some squirrel and rabbit if I have it at the time. There was rabbit in the stew in the pic.
BTW- good evening, mam!

Ha, you must frequent the OB. He's been known to kill a turkey here and there too.

Yep. I need his rabbit foot. Killed 1, should have killed another, and had several "10 more yards" close calls this season. GA season ended today. I am already ready for March.
