Aroma Indian Cuisine was my birthday choice tonight, and, as usual, they presented an amazing meal, and always make us feel so welcome! We had our usual spicy vegetable Chettinad and also tried a new favorite, Kadhai Paneer. Masala base, with chunks of paneer cheese, bell peppers and onion were a fantastic combination. They also brought out a dessert of sweet treats, warm and delicious, to celebrate! Well done, and thank you to my husband and Aroma, for making it a wonderful birthday!

There is an Aroma near my house. I thought it was Italian. If it is Indian, I'll give it a try.

80/20 it’s Italian. Does it look like “Aromá”?

Still flying solo so I walked down to one of the Tex-Mex joints down the street, sat at the bar, and treated myself to a late lunch/early dinner.

Queso with ground beef
Beef fajita quesadillas
Margaritas, rocks, no salt

What type of beans you got there, because they look great to me. Are those Trappey beans?

You nailed it. They're trappey's field peas.

IMO it’s hard to beat those, coming from a can or not.

A couple of steaks with a mushroom wine sauce, a grilled teriyaki chicken breast for the kid that doesn't like steak, roasted garlic and olive oil brussels sprouts, and baked parm and garlic potato wedges.
