Triple tail in parchment paper. Jerk seasoning, garlic butter, white wine and lemon slices in there. Fresh steamed green beans on the side.

The wife and I were watching Sam the Cooking Guy last night and his ribeye French dip looked absolutely delicious. I just used roast beef but still damn good.

I stopped at the local wing joint on my walk home from work. Got a bunch of wings to go.
Half buffalo, half honey BBQ (their best flavor, IMO). Blue cheese for dipping.
Waffle fries.
Vodka waters.

I attended a business crawfish boil in Jackson this evening. They did a wonderful job seasoning the bugs post boil.

Just Wings Over Somerville.
It's across from work and on my direct route home. I can't speak for the one in downtown Boston but the Wings Over in the 'Ville is surprisingly good.
Also quick and affordable. We're full and happy.

quote:I have a random/weird question just because I like you so much MD. How often do you and the SO eat out in a typical month?

I ask this because I feel like you would rarely need to considering you and your others elite culinary skill.

Our sons have been gone a long time now (ages 40 and 42), so family dining is a two - three times a year deal.
The last ten years before retirement, When we both were working career jobs (both in administrative positions), we ate out quite a bit. It was just easier.
I have been retired 2 1/2 years now (the wife maybe 5 years). Since we are both at home and can afford to do it, we do pretty much what we want, which is usually traveling and cooking. We get along just fine in the kitchen, so at least half of our meals are joint efforts.
I know it sounds bad, but there aren't that many places that cook better food than we do, so many times, eating out winds up being a disappointment.
I guess we eat out less than two-three meals a month, unless we are traveling. However, the place we enjoy most is the beach (South Alabama) and even there, I'd just a soon go to a seafood place, pick up fish or shrimp and cook at the condo.
Too many words here for an answer.
