This morning I put a chuck roast in the slow cooker to do Mississippi Roast for dinner tonight. First time we're having this here. Honestly I was a little skeptical about how well it would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised! No complaints here from anyone and I ws surprised some went back for seconds. Lol......


Here it is as I turned it on.



About one third the way through the cooking I added potatoes and carrots to the pot.



Time to eat!



By the feedback this evening we'll be doing this again! Especially considering how easy it is.

First burger since last March, with oven fries. It was delicious! :)
