I have been absolutely sick of looking at photos of wonderful, delicious looking burgers cooked by others. Rather than sit here jealous, I decided I had to do something about it and so I did.
Happy? I am.

is that one of those copper pans from the tv commercials?

Copper like on TV?
Yes.
That one (1 of 2 we own - that bigger and one smaller) is over a year old and still scratch free and still no stick, as in nothing sticks to it!
IMO they work absolutely as well as advertised. We try not to cook at temperatures over medium high in them, but we do occasionally use metal spatulas and spoons - most of the time we use Teflon or wood utensils. Those burgers were cooked without any oil and that cheese wiped away with a paper towel - just like in the commercial.
We bought ours at Walmart - from a rack at the checkout as an impulse purchase. Glad we did.

Whoa!
You threw that greasy, beefy, burned cheese away? But why?

1 - My body is a temple?
2 - I am old as dirt and don't always think solid thoughts?
3 - No excuse sir?
Take your pick. I will never tell why.

When you say me I’m sure you mean Steve. He does all the cooking

That’s what we’re told. But I treated this one like an old honkytonk. Greasy cheeseburgers and cheap cigarettes.

This was my last guess. Your mind is a steel trap full of recipes. I try as many as I can.
