DC's Grill is good, salads, sandwiches, and plate lunches. Atheno's Cafe is good greek food.

It's Wednesday so Rotolos in Port Allen (Brusly side of the Intracoastal Bridge) should have their Wednesday calzone special. Pro-tip, order off menu and substitute rather than build your own.

I’ve never understood the love for Fat Daddy’s my entire life. Go to Riverside by the ferry. Grab some boudin and sausage while you’re there. Not sure if the new restaurant at The Island is open for lunch but it’s supposedly just like the Grapevine.

Riverside Specialty Meats by the ferry in Plaquemine has good boudin balls, wraps and daily lunch specials. Regular menu items like burgers, too.
